Covid-19 outline for the season 2022-2023

It was decided that the following measures will be implemented during FIE competitions until further notice:

– Facemask, except when fencing, training, and eating.

– Participants will need to present to the organizers the negative result of one Covid-19 test (PCR or RAT – Rapid Antigen Test), performed within maximum 72 hours before the arrival in the country. Other sanitary measures at the competition may be implemented by the host federation at their option or as required by the national authorities.

Covid test results are checked upon registration and/or entry to the venue. After check of test result, each participant will receive an entrance band to wear as accreditation for the venue. For coaches and accompanying persons : one entrance band per every competing fencer.

We accept the same rules that have been used in several FIE satellite events in 2022/2023 season:

A self taken Rapid Antigen Test is sufficient, the test does not need to be one with certificate. If you did not do a test with certification, the easiest way is to take a picture of you and the negative test result when you perform the test. Then you can show us the photo and the time stamp of the photo when doing your registration.

DEPARTURE TESTS

At Tallinn Airport, it is possible to perform a coronavirus test at the Confido testing point. At the airport testing point, they offer a SARS coronavirus antigen test (49 €). The test results are clear in 30 minutes.
